Sun Conference Baseball Tournament Returning to JetBlue Park in 2026 and 2027

TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference has announced that the 2026 and 2027 Baseball Tournament Championships are headed back to Lee County, returning to JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Fla., for a third and fourth consecutive year.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity extend our partnership with Lee County to host The Sun Conference Baseball Tournament at JetBlue Park for the next two years,” Sun Conference Commissioner Dustin Wilke commented. “Lee County has demonstrated exceptional partnership and support, and JetBlue Park continues to be recognized as one of the most renowned baseball environments anywhere so this extension was an obvious decision for us.”

Ave Maria University will once again serve as the host institution, working alongside Lee County’s Sports Development and Parks & Recreation departments to stage the event.

“Lee County Sports Development is proud to welcome the Sun Conference Baseball Tournament back to JetBlue Park for the next two years,” Lee County Athletic Coordinator Quinn Bourque added. “This event not only highlights our world-class facilities but also generates a valuable economic boost to local hotels, restaurants, and businesses.”

Opened in 2012, JetBlue Park features a capacity of nearly 11,000 and serves as the spring training home of the Boston Red Sox. The field mirrors the dimensions of Fenway Park, including the iconic “Green Monster” wall in left field.

The 2026 Sun Conference Baseball Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, April 30 through Sunday, May 3. Webber International captured the 2025 title, ending Southeastern University’s four-year championship streak.
