TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference announces the players of the week for baseball, women's lacrosse, men's and women's outdoor track & field, and softball for the week of April 27, 2026.

Baseball Players of the Week
Player of the Week
Cooper Ciesielski, Southeastern
Senior | Monument, Colo. | Outfielder
Notes: Ciesielski boasts a frightening bat, and it is heating up at just the right time. He batted .500 (8-16) in the home stint against New College of Florida. And accounted for just about a third of the Fire runs, driving in seven, cranking a solo homer in the series finale to open the scoring. He finished the week slugging .875, and was on base 52.9 percent of the time. Additionally, he took a walk, stole a base, and converted on all four of defensive opportunities in left field.
Pitcher of the Week
Kyle Keyes, Keiser
Senior | Sandy, Utah | Right-Handed Pitcher
Notes: Kyle Keyes delivered a dominant performance on the mound, tossing a complete-game shutout to lead Keiser to an 11-0 conference victory over Florida Memorial. The right-hander allowed just two hits across seven innings while walking one and striking out three.
Softball Players of the Week

Raylei McKinney, Southeastern
Junior | Brandon, Miss. | Outfielder
Notes: Raylei McKinney boasts a scary bat, and the three game series with Webber was another reason why. She slugged 1.000, batted .545 (6-11), drove in five runs, and scored four times herself. She increased her season batting average to .496 as a power hitter, and hammered another home run, her 13th of the season. Additionally, she walked once, stole a base, and put away three out opportunities.
Pitcher of the Week
Maria Zelenka, Southeastern
Junior | Miami, Fla. | Pitcher
Notes: Fia Zelenka took the final regular season opportunities and made the most of them. Throwing a complete seven inning contest in the first game at Webber, striking out six, and only giving up two hits and one run, finishing the first game with a 6.00 k/7. She returned in game three to polish of a series sweep, and that she did. Picking up her second save of the season, and dealing another strikeout, finishing with a k/7 of 7.00. She advanced her personal record to 16-2, ended the week with a .88 ERA, decreasing her season long and NAIA leading ERA to 0.58.

Defensive Player of the Week
Milena Isturiz, Keiser
Senior | Pembroke Pines, Fla. | Midfielder
Notes: Isturiz totaled nine caused turnovers and five ground balls, consistently disrupting opposing offenses and creating transition opportunities. She opened the week with a standout performance in an 18-3 win at New College of Florida, recording six caused turnovers, three ground balls, and three draw controls, while also adding a pair of assists. She followed with another strong outing in a 25-5 win over St. Thomas, tallying three caused turnovers and two ground balls, while contributing offensively with four goals and an assist. Additionally, she surpassed 200 draw controls in her career this week.
Offensive Player of the Week
Annie Dhabliwala, Ave Maria
Senior | Isle of Palms, S.C. | Attacker
Notes: Dhabliwala posted back-to-back seven point games as she finished with 14 points on the week. Both games had similar stats with nine goals and five assists to get her four points. With nine goals on 15 shots, Dhabliwala scored on 60% of the shots she took this week.
Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week
Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Dario Laing, Southeastern
Senior | St. Catherine, Jamaica
Notes: Laing was a large of the Fire's success this weekend at the Sun Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Securing first in the 110m Hurdles, and in 400m Hurdles. He hit the B Standard in the 110, and in the 400 he collected both A and B standards, set a new SUN No. 1, moved to sixth in the NAIA, and third in the SEU record books. He went on to run the opening leg of the men's 4x100m, in which the Fire hit another B standard with a third place finish.
Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Claudio Pugnetti, Keiser
Sophomore | Udine, Italy
Notes: Claudio Pugnetti turned in a historic performance in the javelin, winning the conference title with a school-record throw of 65.18m. His mark also set a facility record and met the NAIA A standard, solidifying his place among the top throwers in the nation. Pugnetti’s first-place finish earned All-Conference honors and provided a major boost in points for the Seahawks.
Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Olga Gomez, Southeastern
Freshman | Ocala, Fla.
Notes: Olga Gomez was zooming this weekend at the Sun Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Turning a second place and a first place finish in her respective finishes. In the 200m dash, she clocked a NAIA 'B' Standard and a second place finish, and turned around and ran a winning time of 14.09 seconds in the 100m Hurdles to notch another NAIA 'B' Standard.
Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Emma Terry, Southeastern
Senior | Melbourne, Fla.
Notes: Emma Terry, the Sun Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship's Most Valuable Performer, has, as expected, a heck of a day. Placing on the podium in each event she participated in. Her day was highlighted by a monster javelin throw that earned her first in the event, and first in the SEU Record Books, becoming the first ever SEU Woman to throw a javelin over 40 meters.
