MIAMI, Fla. (Nov. 18, 2020) – This week’s Sun Conference Women’s Basketball Game of the Week features the Thomas Night Hawks (0-0, 0-0 TSC) at the Webber International Warriors (4-0, 1-0 TSC) on Thursday, November 19. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
The Night Hawks open their 2020-21 campaign with Thursday’s Game of the Week. Thomas finished last season with 3-17 record (2-15 TSC). The Night Hawks top returner are seniors
Alisha Clayton and
Alexis Powell. Clayton averaged 6.7 points per game and 9.1 rebounds per contest. Powell posted 8.4 points per game last season while dishing out 42 assists.
The Warriors come into this week’s action riding a four-game winning streak to start the season, including a 63-51 win at Ave Maria to begin conference action last Thursday. WIU is averaging 75.8 points per game on 41.6 percent shooting from the floor. The Warriors are led by
Paris Copeland, who is averaging 19.2 points per game on 42.2 percent shooting from the floor.
In the last six meetings, the series is split with the Warriors taking the last contests.
