Sun Conference Softball Players of the Week – Week Seven

MIAMI, Fla. (March 21, 2022) – Warner’s Ashton Owen (Player) and Coastal Georgia’s Hayley Dickerson (Pitcher) have been named the Sun Conference Softball Players of the Week for the week ending March 20.

Ashton Owen – Warner – SR – Bartow, Florida
Owen recorded a batting average of .500 this week with 16 at bats. When playing STU, Owen went 3 for 4 in game one and 2 for 3 in game two with two home runs. She registered a 1.063 slugging percentage. 
 
This is Owen’s first SUN weekly award of the season and the second of her career.

Hayley Dickerson – Coastal Georgia – JR – Rincon, Georgia
Dickerson pitched two Sun Conference road wins (12.0) innings. She allowed eight hits, only one run over the two games, and struck out nine batters.
 
This is Dickerson’s first SUN weekly award of the season and the second of her career.
