MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (January 12, 2023) - Southeastern was selected as the favorites to take home the 2022-23 Sun Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field banner, as voted upon the leagues eight head coaches.
The Fire are back-to-back champions taking home the 2020-21 and 2021-22 crowns. SEU earned 49 points and seven first place votes to capture the top spot. Keiser was right behind with 43 points and the final first place vote.
SCAD-Savannah is set to take third with 31 points with Ave Maria right behind at fourth with 28 points. Thomas and Florida Memorial are tied at fifth with 24 points each. Warner and Webber International close it out at seventh and eighth with 14 and 11 points, respectively.
The Sun Conference Championship Meet will be held in Birmingham, Ala. on Monday, February 6, 2023.
