Keiser Named Sun Conference Champions, Goes 7-0 in SUN Play

TAMPA, Fla. - For the second consecutive season, the Keiser University Seahawks claim the Sun Conference Regular Season Title following a 44-13 win on the road over Florida Memorial. 

With the win, KU improved to 7-0 in the SUN and holds a 8-2 record overall.

In today's contest, the Seahawks rushed for 282 yards on 42 with two rushing touchdowns versus the Lions. Jaden Meizinger led all Seahawks with 160 yards on the ground with two touchdowns.The Seahawks held the Lions to just 30 yards rushing on the day and was led defensively by Hunter Hargrave, who tallying eight total tackles.

This is Keiser's second straight season going undefeated in Sun Conference play. With today's victory, the Seahawks earn the league's automatic bid into the NAIA Football Championship with a chance at the National Title.

Keiser will learn its fate tomorrow, November 12, during the NAIA's Football Championship Selection Show. The show can be watched on the NAIA Youtube Channel and will begin at 7:00 p.m. ET.
