TAMPA, Fla. - The Sun Conference announces its 2024 Women's Indoor Track & Field Specialty Award winners and All-Academic Teams sponsored by Barnes & Noble College.

In the 400m hurdle final, Martino beat the #1 seed in 1:03.37 which was a new personal and NAIA A-standard time to win her first 400m hurdle title. She placed 5th overall in the 100m Hurdles in a new wind legal personal best 15.48. She also ran first leg on the winning 4x400 relay that clinched the title in 3:54.25.
Keiser's
Ah'leeyah Strappier is the 2024 Champion of Character, Strappier, who has a degree in Criminal Justice, has been an integral part of the Keiser program for 4 years. As stated by her Head Coach Jamaine Gordon, "She's an amazing leader who motivates herself and her teammates every day, both on and off the track. Ahleeyah's honesty and respect towards her teammates and coaches truly showcase her outstanding character. She has also dedicated her time to volunteer work, such as giving groceries to those in need through the Tree of Life program and participating in community clean-up efforts to keep parks tidy. Having Ahleeyah in our program has been an absolute pleasure, and we have no doubt that she will continue to excel in her future endeavors."
