Keiser Leads 2025 Men's Tennis Preseason Poll

TAMPA, Fla. – Keiser University has been picked as the favorite to win the Sun Conference Men's Tennis Regular Season Title as voted on by the head coaches in the 2025 Preseason Poll.

The Seahawks clinched the number one spot in the preseason poll with 48 points and six first-place votes. KU finished the 2024 season as SUN Regular Season (7-0) and Tournament Champions, and went on to become National Runners-Up. They ended last year with a 22-3 overall record.

Securing second place with 41 points and two first-place votes, Southeastern aims to challenge for the top spot in the conference this year, having lost only to KU during last year's regular season. The Fire earned an at-large bid to last year's NAIA Championships but fell short in the second round. SEU posted an overall record of 18-7 in 2024.

SCAD Savannah claims the third spot with 38 points. The Bees were eliminated in last year's SUN Tournament Semifinals and finished the season with a 10-9 overall record and went 4-3 in conference play. Coastal Georgia is voted into fourth place, gathering 26 points. CCGA also earned an at-large bid to last year's NAIA Championships, after earning several quality wins in non-conference play. The Mariners concluded the year with an 8-9 overall record.

Ave Maria, with 25 points, holds the fifth position. The Gyrenes aim to break into the top half of the conference after achieving a 4-3 record last season. St. Thomas is not far behind, ranked sixth with 22 points.

Warner and Florida National tie for the seventh spot with 12 points and round out the poll.

Conference play begins Wednesday, February 26, with the conference tournament to begin on Wednesday, April 23. Scores for all matches can be found on The Sun Scoreboard.
