TAMPA, Fla. – Keiser University has been voted for the top spot in the 2025 Sun Conference Women's Tennis Preseason Coaches' Poll.
Keiser, chosen by the league's head coaches, leads the poll with 49 points and seven first-place votes, aiming to extend their dominance after seven consecutive SUN Regular Season Titles and six Tournament Championships. The Seahawks narrowly missed victory (3-4) in the 2024 NAIA National Championship and wrapped up last year with a 19-6 overall record.
Southeastern secures the second spot with 40 points as last year's SUN Tournament Runners-Up. Another National Tournament participant, the Fire reached the final eight and finished the season with a 15-7 record.
SCAD Savannah closely follows, ranking third with 39 points and aiming to challenge for the championship once again. The Bees finished last year’s conference slate with a 6-1 record before losing their SUN Tournament Semifinal match. They concluded their season in the Second Round of the NAIA Tennis Championships.
St. Thomas follows in fourth with 32 points, ahead of Ave Maria in fifth with 21 points. Both teams aim to climb into the top 3 of the conference. Coastal Georgia takes sixth place with 19 points.
Florida National and Warner round out the poll in seventh and eighth places with 14 and 10 points, respectively.
Conference play begins Wednesday, February 26, with the conference tournament to begin on Wednesday, April 23. Scores for all matches can be found on
