TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference announces its major award winners and all-conference honorees for the 2025 women's tennis season.
Violet Apisah of Keiser has been named the Sun Conference Player of the Year. The senior from Sydney, Australia, earns her third consecutive Player of the Year honor after leading the Seahawks to their eighth straight regular season title. Apisah has been dominant in singles play, posting a 23-1 overall record and going undefeated (4-0) at the No. 1 spot in Sun Conference action. She is currently ranked No. 1 in the NAIA in singles.
Violet and Patricia Apisah of Keiser have been named the Sun Conference Doubles Team of the Year. The duo is currently ranked No. 14 in the NAIA and went undefeated (4-0) in Sun Conference play this season. Competing at the No. 1 doubles position for the Seahawks, they hold an impressive 14-2 overall record—without dropping a single match to an NAIA opponent. This marks the pair’s second consecutive Doubles Team of the Year honor. Violet also earned the award in 2023 alongside former teammate Ksenija Vujacic.
Eloise de Mooij of Keiser has been named the Sun Conference Freshman of the Year. Competing at the No. 2 and 3 singles positions, de Mooij went undefeated in Sun Conference play and posted an impressive 16-2 overall record. She also went 3-0 in Sun Conference doubles action at the No. 2 spot. Nationally recognized for her performance, de Mooij has been ranked as high as No. 5 in singles and No. 4 in doubles in the NAIA.
Lisa Konrad of SCAD Savannah has been named this year’s Champion of Character. As stated by her head coach, Pat Page, Lisa not only actively participates in all of the team’s community service efforts, but also leads the way—most notably by organizing and collecting clothing for a local shelter that supports homeless individuals and women in need. She is an outstanding individual who exemplifies what it means to represent both SCAD and collegiate tennis with integrity and compassion.
Daniel Finn of Keiser has been named the Sun Conference Coach of the Year. He earns this honor from his peers after guiding the Seahawks to their eighth consecutive Sun Conference Regular Season Title. Keiser currently holds the No. 1 ranking in the NAIA and boasts an 18-3 overall record. Under Finn’s leadership, six Seahawks earned All-Conference honors this season, as the team now sets its sights on capturing a seventh straight SUN Tournament title this week.

The 2025 Sun Conference Women's Tennis Tournament gets underway Wednesday, April 23, in Brunswick, Ga. Quarterfinal play features No. 3 Southeastern vs. No. 6 Ave Maria and No. 4 St. Thomas vs. No. 6 Florida National, with both matches scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Top seeds No. 1 Keiser and No. 2 SCAD Savannah await the winners in Thursday’s semifinals.
