TAMPA, Fla. – Keiser has been selected as the favorite to claim this year's Sun Conference Flag Football Regular Season Title as voted on by the league's head coaches in the 2025 Preseason Poll.
Keiser University secured the top position with a commanding 63 points and seven first-place votes, following an undefeated regular season and winning the 2024 SUN Tournament Championship. The Seahawks concluded the season as National Runners-Up in the NAIA Flag Football Finals Title Game, with a record of 18-2.
Thomas secured second place with 57 points and two first-place votes after reaching last year's tournament semifinals. TU competed in the NAIA Finals, advancing to the semifinal game but ultimately fell just short. The 2022 and 2023 Sun Conference Champions, the Night Hawks, aim to top the league again in 2025, finishing last season with a 17-4 overall record and a 6-2 conference record.
In third place, Warner garnered 48 points, establishing themselves as a team to watch. The Royals went 7-1 in conference play last year, defeating the reigning champions, Thomas, and clinching the second seed in the conference tournament. Despite the Night Hawks avenging their loss in the conference tournament, Warner concluded the year with a program-best 17-3 record and fell in the NAIA semifinals to the eventual title champion.
St. Thomas collected 44 points to secure the fourth position. The Bobcats completing the 2024 campaign with an overall record of 12-5 and went 5-3 in the SUN. Webber International, holding the fifth spot with 35 points, aims to climb higher in the standings after advancing to bracket play in last year's NAIA Finals.
Life holds the sixth position with 27 points, followed by Reinhardt with 18 points. Both teams concluded the 2024 season with a 2-6 record in conference play and are looking to break into the top half of the league.
Florida Memorial occupies the eighth spot with 17 points, closely followed by Point, which earned 15 points and rounds out the poll.
