Sun Conference Football Game of the Week: Webber Hosts Warner in Rivalry Matchup

TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference is excited to announce its fifth Football Game of the Week of the 2025 season. The Webber International University Warriors will host the Warner University Royals on Saturday, October 4th in a rivalry showdown to kickoff conference play.

Viewed as a must-watch non-conference matchup, the league will provide additional promotion and sideline coverage throughout the day. Fans can follow along on the league’s social media accounts by clicking the icons below.

Webber Notes

  • Webber is 2-2 on the year with wins over Stetson and Fort Lauderdale.
  • The Warriors are averaging 84 rushing yards per game as well as 116 passing yards per game.
  • Davaughn Thomas leads the Warriors in rushing yards with 103, while D’Markus Mathis leads with two rushing touchdowns.
  • Blake Birchler leads the Warrior passing attack, Jahari Treasure-Walker and Dantay Diorio lead the team in receiving yards.
