TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference and Commissioner Dustin Wilke are excited to announce the addition of Reagan Harrell to support the league’s efforts in enhanced promotion, social media, and video content.
Harrell has been promoting The Sun Conference over the past several years through
Suncast Podcast, a platform he founded in 2022 that features interviews, scores, video content, and more for all member institutions and championship sports across the league.
“Reagan will be an outstanding addition to our conference team,” said Sun Conference Commissioner Dustin Wilke. “As a former Sun Conference athlete, Reagan brings a unique perspective on our brand and how to best serve our members, particularly our student-athletes. We look forward to seeing him get to work right away and do great things for us.”
In this expanded role, Harrell will provide on-the-ground coverage for all 24 Sun Conference championship sports. His responsibilities will include media day coverage and season previews, producing video features and highlights, hosting weekly shows airing on the league’s new partner
Urban Edge Network, and amplifying the promotion of student-athletes at Sun Conference Championship events.
“I am truly honored to join one of the premier conferences in college athletics,” Harrell commented. “The Sun Conference holds a special place in my heart, having experienced it firsthand as a punter at Webber. Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of helping share the stories of The Sun Conference’s remarkable programs as they’ve continued to rise. I’m excited for the opportunity to enhance coverage and visibility for the outstanding coaches and student-athletes who make The Sun Conference so special.”
A former football student-athlete at Webber International University, Harrell was already a familiar face within the league prior to launching
Suncast. Since Spring 2024, he has collaborated directly with the conference through a formal media day partnership, paving the way for this new role.
Harrell also launched
NAIA SB in 2023, a platform dedicated to nationwide coverage of NAIA softball, further expanding his footprint in collegiate athletics media.
