TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference announces the players of the week for men's and women's cross country, football, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball for the week of September 1, 2025. These are the first men's cross country, women's cross country, and football awards of 2025.

Football Players of the Week
Defensive Player of the Week
Anthony Fuller, Webber International
Sophomore | St. Petersburg, Fla. | Linebacker
Notes: Fuller played a key role in the Warriors upset over Stetson. He finished the game with six tackles and put an exclamation mark on the win with a pick six that helped Webber become the 10th NAIA school to defeat an NCAA D1 FCS team.
Offensive Player of the Week
Jaden Miller, Keiser
Sophomore | Miami, Fla. | Running Back
Notes: Sophomore Jaden Miller led a Keiser running attack that poured on 171 yards on the ground (6.3 yards per carry) and four rushing touchdowns versus the No. 6-ranked Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats of Saturday. Miller alone accounted for 104 yards on 19 carries (7.4 yards per carry). To put that into perspective, last season, IWU allowed just 2.8 yards per carry on the year and only nine rushing touchdowns in 13 games. His four rushing touchdowns tied the school record for rushing TDs in a game - Marques Burgess versus Warner ? 10/31/2021 & Jaden Meizinger versus Thomas [Ga] ? 9/9/2023. In the three instances in program history this record has occurred, Miller's is the only one on the road and against a ranked opponent. He busted a 70-yard touchdown run late in the fourth to give the Seahawks a 38-31 lead.
Special Teams Player of the Week
Dorian Hall, Keiser
Freshman | Sarasota, Fla. | Kicker
Notes: Freshman Dorian Hall his Keiser debut, converting a 46-yard field goal, going 5-for-5 on extra-point attempts averaging 44.5 yards per punt and averaged 63.6 yards per kickoff, including two touchbacks during the Seahawk's 38-31 win at No. 6 Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday. His 46-yard field goal (the first attempt of his Keiser career) which was the fifth longest field goal in program history. His first punt attempt as a Seahawks was a 49-yard blast the flipped the field for Keiser in the first half.

Attacker of the Week
Laura Bonomi, Southeastern
Senior | Ceto, Italy | Outside Hitter
Notes: Bonomi is quickly asserting herself as one of the top attackers in the NAIA. Supporting the Fire, and leading them to a 3-0 weekend at the Faulkner Invitational. Notching 53 kills in three matches, and 4.82 kills per set with a .358 hitting percentage. Her 123 attempts only showed nine errors. Additionally at the service line she was a threat with eight service aces, adding two assists. She collected two double-doubles in back-to-back 3-1 wins over RV Reinhardt and Faulkner. Finishing the weekend with 62.5 total points and 5.7 points per set. Her kill numbers have her 11th in the NAIA, and the kills per set rank 10th overall in the NAIA. Her 24 overall service aces rank third in the NAIA.

Notes: Had 44 digs in a pair of NCF opening week wins leading the team in both of its matches. Had 30 digs in a Sunday win over Park Gilbert (AZ), averaging 5.5 digs per set on the week, and had 40 receptions on the week.

Notes: The 2024 First-Team All-Sun Conference selection had 81 assists in two NCF wins leading the team in each of its first two matches of the season.

Notes: Garcia had a clean sheet against Warner adding 3 saves to the mix. Secured his second win of the week against Thomas with three more saves.

Notes: Florida Memorial University striker Nasreddine Benbella generated a hat trick in the Lions 4-0 defeat over Florida College, keeping FMU undefeated on the season.

Notes: Stopped four shots at Judson in the Bobcats' 6-0 shutout victory.

Notes: Irurozki is quickly becoming into a nightmare situation for opposing defenses. Five points in game one, how about a hat-trick in game two. Her three goals were the difference as she put 80 percent of her shots on frame, and aided the Fire to a 4-2 road win over Webber International.

Junior | Westminster, Colo.
Notes: Heins was SCAD's top runner, finishing ninth at the NCAA DI Charleston Southern Buccaneer Open. As a team, the Bees finished in third behind NCAA DI institutions Charleston Southern and The Citadel.
Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Talia Sullivan, SCAD Savannah
Graduate Student | Lustleigh, Devon, England
Notes: Sullivan was SCAD's top runner, finishing third in the field of 38. The Bees placed second overall, defeating NCAA DI The Citadel and S.C. State.
