TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference announces the players of the week for baseball, men's and women's golf, women's lacrosse, men's and women's outdoor track, and softball for the week of April 20, 2026.

Baseball Players of the Week
Player of the Week
Cooper Ciesielski, Southeastern
Senior | Monument, Colo. | Outfielder
Notes: Cooper Ciesielski was one of the main engines behind a high scoring weeked at No. 12 Webber International. Going 8-15, finishing the week with a .533 batting average, .800 slugging percentage, and a .529 on base percentage. He drove in eight runs, and scored four times himself. Walking once, stealing a base, and converting on all nine put out opportunites.
Pitcher of the Week
Christian Prull, Ave Maria
Graduate Student | Maquoketa, Iowa | Right-Handed Pitcher
Notes: Christian Prull logged two saves over the weekend against Florida Memorial. On Thursday, Prull entered the game in the ninth inning and pitched the final two outs, logging one strikeout and stranding the tying run on third. In the first game of the doubleheader on Friday, Prull entered the game the game in the fifth inning with the tying run at the plate. He stranded three baserunners that inning and then tossed a shutdown sixth and seventh innings for his second save of the series. Of the seven outs Prull recorded on Friday, five of them were strikeouts.

Notes: Recorded eight hits in 11 ABs, five going for extra bases, over a three-game series at Florida Memorial... hit a home run in each outing against the Lions... Also threw a complete-game shutout with one hit allowed and seven strikeouts.
Pitcher of the Week
Maria Zelenka, Southeastern
Junior | Miami, Fla. | Pitcher
Notes: Maria Zelenka was another kind of dominant this week. Seeing the pitching circle twice in a absolutely critical showdown with No. 10 Keiser. In game one, she dealt the entire six innings, striking out five, and pitching a complete game shutout. In game three, she came in in relief, dealing the last 1.2 innings, striking out two more and earning the save. Across the week, the NAIA No. 10 Seahawks plated no runs, and Zelenka finished with a 6.39 k/9, improved her season long ERA to 0/57 with the perfect ERA on the week. She picked her 15th win of the season and picked up her first save of the year.

Defensive Player of the Week
Maddy Hahn, SCAD Savannah
Freshman | Queenstown, Md. | Midfielder
Notes: Hahn had a big week for the Bees as SCAD went 2-0 on the week, including a 23-2 win over St. Thomas and a 12-5 win over No. 5 Keiser. The Freshman totaled four caused turnovers and six ground balls, as Hahn led a SCAD defense that held Keiser to its lowest goal count of the season with the 12-5 win.
Offensive Player of the Week
Ellen Benintendi, SCAD Savannah
Sophomore | Cincinnati, Ohio | Midfielder
Notes: Benintendi continued her impressive season, totaling five goals in each game this week, while adding two assists in the 12-5 win over No. 5 Keiser on Saturday. The Sophomore also won five draw controls, and totaled three ground balls. Benintendi currently leads the Bees in goals (51), points (66), and draw controls (93).

Men's Golfer of the Week
Iver Sokhan-Sanj, Keiser
Sophomore | Lorenskog, Norway
Notes: Sophomore Ivar Sokhan-Sanj claimed his third individual title while leading Keiser to its fifth tournament win of the season. The native of Lorenskog, Norway, shot a career-low 201 versus a field 21 teams that included 12 teams represented in the latest NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The second-year Seahawk also set the school record for low round, posting a 9-under, 63, during the tournament's second round. Over the tournament, he shot 4-under on Par 3s, a 3-under on Par 4s, and an 8-under on Par 5s. He also tallied 28 par putts, a team-high 18 birdies, and two eagles. On the year, Sokhan-Sanj has an adjusted scoring average of 70.3 and is ranked No. 11 in the nation (clippd).

Sophia Sindersberger, Keiser
Sophomore | Zurich, Switzerland
Notes: Sophia Sindersberger recorded third top-5 finish of the season and seventh top-10 result of the 2025-26 campaign, leading Keiser to a second-place finish at the Music City Classic. The native of Zurich, Switzerland, shot a 3-under, 213, in a field of 105 golfers. For the tournament, Sindersberger was 1-under on Par 3s, Par 4s and Par 5s. She recorded 37 par putts and tallied a team-best 10 birdies. On the year, Sindersberger has recorded an adjusted scoring average of 72.7 and ranks No. 4 in the nation (clippd).

Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Gianni Stubbs, SCAD Savannah
Freshman | Hatfield, Essendon, Hertfordshire, England
Notes: Stubbs won the 800M on Saturday, finishing three seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Jess Lyons, SCAD Savannah
Junior | Allentown, N.J.
Notes: Lyons earned a second-place finish in the 400M, setting a new program record in the process. The Junior was also a member of the winning 4x400M relay team.
