Notes: Jermaine Tyler Jr intercepted two passes against No. 23 Reinhardt en route to a 33-7 win. The Sophomore now has three interceptions in two games for the Fire. He also tallied three tackles in the win.

Jalen Daniels, St. Thomas

Notes: Sophomore Jaden Miller led a Keiser running attack that poured on 171 yards on the ground (6.3 yards per carry) and four rushing touchdowns versus the No. 6-ranked Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats of Saturday. Miller alone accounted for 104 yards on 19 carries (7.4 yards per carry). To put that into perspective, last season, IWU allowed just 2.8 yards per carry on the year and only nine rushing touchdowns in 13 games. His four rushing touchdowns tied the school record for rushing TDs in a game - Marques Burgess versus Warner ? 10/31/2021 & Jaden Meizinger versus Thomas [Ga] ? 9/9/2023. In the three instances in program history this record has occurred, Miller's is the only one on the road and against a ranked opponent. He busted a 70-yard touchdown run late in the fourth to give the Seahawks a 38-31 lead.

Joel McGrath, Southeastern

Notes: Freshman Dorian Hall his Keiser debut, converting a 46-yard field goal, going 5-for-5 on extra-point attempts averaging 44.5 yards per punt and averaged 63.6 yards per kickoff, including two touchbacks during the Seahawk's 38-31 win at No. 6 Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday. His 46-yard field goal (the first attempt of his Keiser career) which was the fifth longest field goal in program history. His first punt attempt as a Seahawks was a 49-yard blast the flipped the field for Keiser in the first half.

 

Laura Bonomi, Southeastern

Senior | Ceto, Italy | Outside Hitter

Notes: Laura Bonomi had a career-high 26 kills in the 3-1 win over New College of Florida. The senior added 23 more in the 3-1 over Ave Maria three days later. She finished the week with a 6.13 k/s, 45 digs, six service aces, and a .299 hitting percentage en route to a 2-0 start in Sun Conference play..

Mallori Grey, Southeastern

Senior | Crystal River, Fla. | Defensive Specialist/Libero

Notes: Mallory Grey tallied 59 digs (7.38 d/s) for No. 25 Southeastern en route to a 2-0 week in Sun Conference play. Her 33 digs against New College of Florida was a single-game career high for the senior.

Haven Speer, Southeastern

Junior | Kalispell, Mont. | Setter

Notes: Haven Speer set a Southeastern volleyball single match and career high record of 60 assists in the 3-1 win over New College of Florida. The total set a new SEU single-game record (since box scores were tracked in 2014), it also tied a Sun Conference single match record. Just three days later, the junior from Kalispell, Mont. tallied 45 more assists in a 3-1 win over Ave Maria. Finishing the week with a 13.13 a/s, adding four kills, five aces, two blocks, and 19 digs across a 2-0 week, and 2-0 start in conference play.


 

Noah Balyeat, Ave Maria

Junior | Goshen, Ind. | Goalkeeper

Notes: Junior Noah Balyeat recorded his first career solo shutout Saturday afternoon as he turned in a clean-sheet against Florida Poly. Balyeat had to battle both the Phoenix and the elements as a lightning delay halted the game for almost two hours. Once the game resumed, Balyeat stopped all 11 shots he faced as a goose egg remained on the board.

Cameron Johnson, New College of Florida

Sophomore | Miami, Fla. | Forward

Notes: The defending Sun Conference Freshman of the Week had a monster week for the Mighty Banyans, delivering two second half goals at RV Dalton State to help the Mighty Banyans secure a 3-3 draw and then scoring two goals and dishing an assist in a home win over Florida College. He finished the week with nine points, converting on 4-of-6 of his shot attempts and having all six shot attempts come on target.

Mio Tanaka, Keiser

Senior| Himeji, Japan | Goalkeeper

Notes: Keiser goalkeeper Mio Tanaka added to her season shutout total this past week, recording two more clean sheets to up her season total to four. The native of Himeji, Japan, has not allowed a goal 392 minutes, recording four straight shutouts. More impressive is that both shutouts this past week came against the No. 8-ranked Grace (Ind.) Lancers and the No. 1-ranked Cumberlands (Ky.) Patriots. On the year Tanaka leads the conference in goals against average (0.33).
 

Cali Wuestefeld, SCAD 

Junior | Terre Haute, Ind. | Forward

Notes: Wustefeld had a hand in all three goals for the Bees as SCAD upset No. 18 Georgia Gwinnett 3-0 on the road on Sunday. The Junior assisted the first goal of the game and then scored the next two goals within minutes of each other. Wustefeld currently leads the team in goals (5), and points (12).

Iker Prados Molina, Keiser

Freshman | Barcelona, Spain

Notes: Won the individual title at the STU Invitational, crossing the line first in 26:37.66. The win comes on the heels of breaking Keiser's school 5K record the week prior, giving him back-to-back standout performances to open the season.

Camille Romero, Keiser

Sophomore | Pichincha, Ecuador

Notes: Posted a course personal record at the STU Invitational, finishing 4th overall in 24:54.10. She has now led the Keiser women's team in both meets this season, including a PR on the same course from a year ago.




 

Abbey Peterson, Southeastern

Sophomore | Winona Lake, Ind.

Notes: Abbey Peterson secured her first collegiate title at the Coastal Georgia Invitational. Tying the School Record for Single Tournament Low Score, shooting one over par. Her Par first round, and two under third round, helped lead the Fire to a impressive team win, winning by 45 strokes over second. The Fire as a team set the new Program Tournament Low Score record by seven strokes, shooting 16 over, and knocked off four ranked NAIA programs and The Citadel.
