TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference announces the players of the week for men's and women's golf, football, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball for the week of September 28, 2026.
All 12 awards are based on performances from September 21 – September 27.

Cameron Thomas Sr., Thomas
Junior | Thomasville, Ga. | Defensive Back
Notes: Thomas Sr. did it all in the win against Andrew College. He ended the day with eight tackles, a tackle for loss, an interception and three pass breakups. Helping Thomas snap their 19-game losing streak.
Offensive Player of the Week
JT Tabora, Keiser

Notes: Quarterback JT Tabora threw for over 300 yards for the first time in his Keiser career to lead the No. 1-ranked Seahawks to a 58-21 win over (rv) Cumberlands (Ky.) on Saturday. The Hollywood, Florida native completed 16-of-21 passes for 336 yards and three touchdowns. His passing yards and passing touchdowns were both career highs. Tabora's 336 yards passing were the fourth most in a game in program history while he led the Seahawks to 642 yards of total offense - second most in program history (692 versus Thomas [Ga.] - Oct. 4, 2025).

Dorian Hall, Keiser

Notes: Kicker Dorian Hall added 10 points to his scoring total on the year, kicking seven extra points and one field goal in a 58-21 win over (rv) Cumberlands (Ky.) on Saturday. The seven made extra-point attempts tied Hall for the sixth most in a game in Keiser history. He also pinned the Patriots deep in their own territory, punting three times with two inside the 20-yard line and an average of 43.7 yards per punt. He also kicked off 10 times in thegame for 640 yards with eight touchbacks.

Notes: Senior Cece Worsham had a strong week for the Seahawks offensively, averaging 4.00 kills per set while hitting nearly .400 over a two-game span. The native of Lima, Ohio, recorded a double-double versus Florida National to increase her season total to six on the year after producing 17 kills and posting a season-best 19 digs versus the Conquistadors. She opened the week with 15 kills while hitting an impressive .407 as the Seahawks swept Ave Maria, 3-0. On the year, Worsham ranks No. 5 in the conference in kills per set (3.09) as well as hitting percentage (.227)

Addison Chapman, Keiser
Senior | Katy, Texas | Right Side
Notes: Senior Addison Chapman was a force at the net this week, producing 12 total blocks in two games for the Seahawks as Keiser added two more victories. The crowning jewel of her week was a 10-block performance versus Florida National as the Seahawks held FNU to a .119 hitting percentage. She was also affected Ave Maria's play as the Gyrenes his -.033 as Keiser recorded the 3-0 sweep. On the year, Chapman ranks No. 3 in the conference in blocks per game (0.84) and is second in total blocks with 46.

Notes: Speer had 34 assists and averaged 11.33 a/s in the sweep over Webber International. She also had two kills and eight digs.

Notes: Matias Fuenets secured a shutout victory in goal against #11 Keiser in the Bobcats’ Sun Conference Opener. Fuentes made four saves on the night. This was Fuentes’ first collegiate shutout in his second year as a Boobcat.

Sebastian Gomez, SCAD
Sophomore | Savannah, Ga | Forward
Notes: Gomez proved pivotal in SCAD's 5-1 rout of Webber International on Saturday. Scoring a hat trick to secure the win, Gomez played almost the entire 90 leading the offensive charge in the Sun Conference opener.

Notes: Songer played the first half of the 7-0 win over Edward Waters and registered one save. She was in net for the full 90 minutes against #22 Georgia Gwinnett and made three saves. The lone goal allowed came from a penalty kick.

Notes: Irurozki scored four times and had an assist in the first thirty minutes in the 7-0 win over Edward Waters (NCAA DII). She also sent in the cross that led to an own goal in the 2-1 win over #22 Georgia Gwinnett.

Men's Golfer of the Week
Tripp Watkins, New College of Florida
Junior | Lady Lkae, Fla.
Notes: Watkins led NCF to a third-place finish at the Battle of Black Diamond by shooting -1 par to lead all NAIA and Sun Conference golfers in the tournament. He shot -1 under in the first round and -3 in the second to help pace the host Mighty Banyans.
Women's Golfer of the Week
Maria Barcos, SCAD Savannah
Freshman | Navarra, Spain
Notes: Barcos led the Bees to their second tournament win of the season with a second-place finish at the Battle of Black Diamond. SCAD was the only team to score under 900 for the two-day tournament.
