Talia Sullivan have been named the Sun Conference Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Runners of the Week for the week ending September 5.
Sun Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
Adam Paga – Ave Maria – SO – Boyne City, Michigan
Paga was the individual champion at the MGA Invitational, and powered Ave Maria to the team title. Paga led a group of Gyrenes that took six of the top eight spots, and won AMU back-to-back team titles for the first time in school history.
This is Paga’s first SUN weekly award of the season and first of his career.
Sun Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
Talia Sullivan – SCAD Savannah – SO – Devon, England
Sullivan, running in her first collegiate cross country race, finished eighth (19:07) in the field of 60, besting runners from NCAA DI, DII and NAIA institutions. The only runners to beat her were from NCAA DI schools.
This is Sullivan’s first SUN weekly award of the season and first of her career.
