TAMPA, Fla. — SCAD Savannah will open the 2025 season as the preseason favorite in Sun Conference Women’s Cross Country, earning 36 points and six first-place votes in the poll of league head coaches. The Bees enter the fall as the defending 2024 Sun Conference Champions.
Ave Maria lands second with 29 points, while Southeastern follows close behind in third at 28 points, collecting the final first-place vote. St. Thomas is slotted fourth with 20 points, and Keiser rounds out the top five with 17 points.
Warner (10) and New College (7) complete the seven-team field heading into the fall season.
The Sun Conference Championship is scheduled for early November, where teams will compete for an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championships.
