Southeastern Tabbed to Win 2022-23 SUN Women's Indoor Track and Field Title

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (January 12, 2023) – The Southeastern Fire have been voted to win the 2022-23 Sun Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field championship, as voted upon the leagues eight head coaches.
 
The Fire are looking to take home their third straight title. SEU earned 49 points and seven first place votes to capture the top spot. Keiser was followed with 43 points and the final first place vote.
 
Florida Memorial is set to take third with 34 points, while SCAD-Savannah earned 29 points and is set to place fourth.
 
Ave Maria placed fifth with 24 points and Thomas was right behind with 18 points in sixth. Webber International and Warner are wrap it up with 15 and 14 points, respectively in seventh and eighth.
 
The Sun Conference Championship Meet will be held in Birmingham, Ala. on Monday, February 6, 2023.
