TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference announces the Player of the Week honorees for baseball, softball, women's lacrosse, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, beach volleyball, and women's flag football.
All 13 awards are based on performances from March 4 - March 10.

Jhamante Woods, Keiser | Sr. - Second Baseman - Portland, Ore.
Jhamante Woods notched a team-best 14 RBI as the Seahawks swept a four-game weekend series with Bryant & Stratton. Woods his .533 on the week with one double and two home runs. He set Keiser career records in home runs (2), runs scored (3), and runs batted in (7) versus the Bobcats. The native of Portland, Oregon, has recorded a hit in 16 straight games. On the year, Woods is hitting .438 with an OPS of 1.268. He has recorded four home runs and 32 RBI.
Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Darien Smith, Southeastern | Sr. - Jacksonville, Fla.
Smith struck out seven over five innings in an 8-0 win over #7 Bellevue. He allowed just two hits to the Bruins to pick up his fifth win in six starts and to avenge a loss last year to Bellevue when he went just two innings. Smith is the NAIA leader in strikeouts with 56 and is also among the leaders in ERA at 0.77.

Tes DeBono, Keiser | So. - First Baseman - Lancaster, Mass.
DeBono was on fire this week, totaling 15 hits (four for extra bases), and five RBI.
Softball Pitcher of the Week
Lizzy Small, Keiser | Jr. - Sarasota, Fla.
Small was a machine from the circle and the plate this weekend, racking up five strikeouts, one complete game shutout, and five wins. Small also collected nine RBI.

Kaitlyn Patterson, Webber Int'l | Sr. - Midfielder - Tampa, Fla.
Patterson caused 8 turnovers across the Warriors' three games, forcing her opponents into costly mistakes that usually resulted in a Warrior score. She also picked up 7 ground balls to boot.
Offensive Player of the Week
Kaitlyn Chmelir, St. Thomas | So. - Attacker - Plantation, Fla.
Scored a collective nine goals in two games, reaching a milestone of 50+ goals in her sophomore season. Five goals were scored against Nationally-ranked #10 Aquinas. Recorded 12 total points with three assists. Recorded a SOG% of 92.3.

Men's Golfer of the Week
Isac Wallin, Keiser | Sr. - Kungsangen - Sweden
For the second straight event, Isac Wallin won medalist honors, winning the Keiser Kup individual title with a 6-under, 207 (69-67-71). It marked Wallin's third tournament win of the season and is his fifth top-5 finish this year. His play helped Keiser claim its fourth tournament championship of the 2023-24 season. On the year, Wallin has posted three medalist honors, and five top-5 finishes. He has recorded an adjusted scoring average of 69.0 and is ranted the No. 1 golfer in the NAIA by clippd.

Hoi Ki Lau, Keiser | So. - Hong Kong, China
Sophomore Hoi Ki Lau won her first tournament of the season, shooting an even-par (216). The product of Hong Kong won medalist honors by two strokes for her fifth top-5 finish of the season. Her play helped Keiser claim the team's third tournament honors of the year, winning the 2024 Keiser Kup by 11 strokes. On the year, Lau has recorded four top-5 finishes with an adjusted season scoring average of 71.3 and ranks No. 5 in the nation by clippd.

Diego Menendez, Southeastern | Jr. - Gijon, Spain
Menendez had a 5-0 week helping the Fire taking down two Division I opponents and three NAIA opponents. Not allowing more than four points in singles play and winning every match that finished in doubles with Pessoa.
Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Flaminia Guidantoni, Southeastern | Sr. - Rome, Italy
Guidantoni was crucial to Southeastern's 4-3 victory over #4 Middle Georgia State, in doubles her and her partner Montserrat upset #12 Golz/Rodiguez 6-3. In singles she won in straight sets in her match at Line 3.
