TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference announces the players of the week for men's and women's basketball and football for the week of November 17, 2025.

All seven awards are based on performances from November 10 – November 16.
Football Players of the Week
Defensive Player of the Week
MarQuez Griffin, Webber International
Freshamn | Jacksonville, Fla. | Linebacker
Notes: Griffin led the Warriors with 9 total tackles against Thomas. He had 1.5 tackles for loss and added a forced fumble to boot.
Offensive Player of the Week
Quinton Moore, Webber International
Freshman | Jacksonville, Fla. | Wide Receiver
Notes: Moore did it on the ground and in the air for the Warriors, totalling 3 touchdowns, 2 rushing and 1 receiving. On the ground, he rushed 4 times for 107 yards, being one of three Warriors with 100 rushing yards Saturday, capped off by a 92-yard touchdown run, putting his average at an insane 26.8 yards per rush. He caught three passes with a longest completion of 38 yards, averaging 20.3 yards per catch.
Special Teams Player of the Week
Rourke Davis, Webber International
Freshman | Kicker
Notes: Davis went a perfect 8-8 on PATs against Thomas, and added a 39-yard field goal to help the Warriors take down the Nighthawks 61-0. He also kicked the ball off four times, totalling 257 yards for an average kick of 64.3 yards and two touchbacks.

Cameron Baldwin, Keiser

Notes: Cam Baldwin was shining on both sides of the floor this week but truly made his presence felt on the defensive side of the ball with seven blocks across his two games. The Seahawks are already back in the top-30 for points allowed per game this season.
Offensive Player of the Week
Marlon Bennett, Ave Maria
Junior | Orlando, Fla. | Guard
Notes: The junior transfer from Lincoln Trail College led the team in scoring in the conference/home opener for the Gyrenes, logging 27 points against the Warriors. He hit 12 shots from the field, with two of them coming from behind the arc. Bennett also scored 18 in a non-conference game against Florida College to lead the team for the week with 45 points.
Women's Basketball Players of the Week
Defensive Player of the Week
Taylor Blackshear, Coastal Georgia
Junior | West Palm Beach, Fla. | Guard
Notes: Blackshear delivered two strong all-around performances for the Mariners, posting six steals and nine rebounds in each of CCGA’s wins. She added 25 points in the victory over Thomas and totaled six assists across the two contests. In all, she finished the week with 12 steals, 18 rebounds, and 25 points.
Offensive Player of the Week
Mya Herman, Southeastern
Junior | Canandaigua, N.Y. | Guard
Notes: Mya Herman was a living nightmare for opposing defensive this weekend. Putting up 34 total points on the week, shooting 73.7 percent from the field and 62.5 percent from three point land. Against Fort Lauderdale she played a limited 17 minutes, scoring 11 points. At projected Sun Conference winners Florida Memorial, she shot an outlandish 90 percent from the field, and 80 percent from three, totaling 23 points and dished five assists with only one turnover as the Fire won on the road 91-52.
