TAMPA, Fla. — St. Thomas has been selected as the preseason favorite to win the 2025 Sun Conference Volleyball title, earning 49 points and seven first-place votes in the annual poll of league head coaches.
The Bobcats were undefeated in the 2024 regular season, claiming their fourth straight regular-season crown and third consecutive tournament championship.
Southeastern is picked second with 41 points and one first-place vote after a strong 2024 campaign that finished 19–6 overall and 11–3 in conference play. Keiser slots third with 36 points, followed by New College of Florida in fourth with 31 points and Ave Maria in fifth with 24 points.
Webber International is sixth with 21 points, Warner is seventh with 14 points, and Florida Memorial rounds out the poll in eighth with 8 points.
Three programs welcome new head coaches in 2025: Keiser, New College of Florida, and Webber International.
Conference play begins Friday, September 5 with the conference tournament to begin Tuesday, November 11.
