TAMPA, Fla. – The Sun Conference announces the players of the week for men's and women's basketball and men's and women's swimming & diving for the week of November 24, 2025.

Men's Basketball Players of the Week
Defensive Player of the Week
Alex Sherwood, Ave Maria
Junior | Neenah, Wis. | Forward
Notes: Alex Sherwood made Ave Maria history Saturday afternoon, shattering the program record with nine blocks against Coastal Georgia. The junior transfer had already broken the previous record of five with six blocks in the second game of the season, but crushed that with his performance against the Mariners. Sherwood also scored 15 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, meaning he was just one block away from recording the second ever triple-double in program history. For the whole week, Sherwood had 13 blocks and 26 rebounds.
Offensive Player of the Week
Camerin James, Keiser
Junior | Apopka, Fla. | Forward
Notes: It was the breakout game that the Seahawks have been looking for on Saturday with Camerin James going for 30 points and 11 rebounds. James recorded two double-doubles this week in dominant wins for KU. Efficiency has been key for Keiser as they currently rank ninth in the NAIA in FG pct. at 52.2%. According to statistics, the Seahawks are the 17th-most efficient team in the NAIA on offense.

Grace Field, Southeastern
Graduate Student | Albany, N.Y. | Guard
Notes: Outlandish offensive numbers aside, Grace Field commanded the glass, collecting 28 rebounds on the week (25 of which were defensive). In the 107-81 win over Coastal Georgia, she notched five blocks, her season high. In the defensive struggle with St. Thomas she secured 17 rebounds, leading the team to a 63-59 win. Averaging 14 rebounds a game, she fueled the Fire with her defense and her offense, leading SEU to a 2-0 week, and guided them on their 8-0 start and 3-0 start in SUN play.
Offensive Player of the Week
Grace Field, Southeastern
Graduate Student | Albany, N.Y. | Guard
Notes: Field notched a career high 32 points on 13-14 shooting in the 26 point win over Coastal Georgia. She also added 19 points and 17 rebounds in the 63-59 win over St. Thomas to take sole possession of the Sun Conference. In addition, she totaled 10 assists and shot 67.9 percent from the field, and 81.3 percent from the free throw line. On the week, Field averaged 35 minutes a contest as well as 25.5 points and 14 rebounds.

Men's Swimmer of the Week
Levente Mozsarik, SCAD Savannah
Freshman | Kerekegyhaza, Hungary
Notes: Mozsarik had a breakout meet for the Bees, earning "A" qualifying standards in each event he competed in, including five relay teams. SCAD set program records in the 200 free and the 400 free relays, in which Mozsarik was a member of. The freshman went on to set a program record in the 50 free with a time of 19.68. The Bees finished sixth in the NCAA DI heavy Gamecock Invite hosted by the University of South Carolina.
Women's Swimmer of the Week
Louise Jones, SCAD Savannah
Sophomore | Savannah, Ga.
Notes: Jones set "A" qualifying standards in six of the eight events she competed in, including five relays and the 200 IM. SCAD finished seventh, defeating NCAA DII Florida Southern College and NCAA DII Carson-Newman University as they competed in the NCAA DI heavy University of South Carolina Gamecock Invite.
