AVE MARIA, Fla. – The 2023 Women’s Cross Country Championship took place at Ave Maria University’s North Park with the Bees of SCAD Savannah winning their third straight Sun Conference Title.
The No. 17 nationally ranked Bees finished with a perfect score of 15 points, a first in Sun Conference Cross Country history. SCAD had the first five runners across the finish line: Midgett, Manfred, Gralki, Froning, and Garcia.
Ave Maria finished as Conference Runner-Up as the Gyrenes placed their first five runners all in the top-18 and totaled 55 points as a team. Southeastern had the next individual finisher behind SCAD, Grace Feder in sixth-place, and finished with 70 points to earn third place.
