TAMPA, Fla. – Southeastern University has been voted to win the 2023 Sun Conference Women’s Cross Country Championship as voted by the conference’s head coaches in the Preseason Coaches’ Poll.
The Fire total 23 points in the poll and receive four first-place votes. Just behind Southeastern is SCAD-Savannah, the defending SUN Champions, with 21 points and one first-place vote. Slated to finish third is Ave Maria, tallying 19 points and one first-place vote.
St. Thomas was picked to finish fourth (12 points). Keiser and Warner complete the women’s cross country poll with nine points and six points, respectively.

Felicity Foxhoven
Sophomore | Nerstrand, Minn.
Foxhoven was a First Team All-Sun Conference runner in 2022, finishing fifth at the Sun Conference Championships. The Minnesota native qualified for the NAIA National Championships in her first year of college, and was named The Sun Conference's Freshman of the Year at the 2022 Championships.

Emily Guthrie
Sophomore | Eldon, Missouri
Guthrie returns to Keiser XC after placing in the top-50 in both meets she competed in last fall.

SCAD-Savannah
Talia Sullivan
Senior | Lustleigh, Devon, England
Sullivan was the 2021 SUN Conference Champion and has a personal best of 17:58. She also was a 2023 NAIA All-American in the 10k this past spring.

Southeastern
Jillian Blaser
Senior | North Kingstown, R.I.
Finished 11th at Conference Championships with a time of 19:41 and was a part of the NAIA National team. Has a 5k PR on the track of 18:58.

St. Thomas
Emily Holzer
Senior | Miami, Fla.
Last year had major PRs for both cross country and track and field. Ended off track season with a major PR in the 5k. Had a great and hard summer of training.

Warner
Sharika Conway
Freshman | Chester, Va.
The Chester, VA native is a highly touted freshman coming into the Women's Cross-Country Program and is expected to have a big impact for the Women's team.

Webber International
Karah White
Freshman | Tavares, Fla.
She enters her collegiate career with a personal best that would place her in the top 25 returners for the conference. In high school she was a state qualifier.
